Register for International Days

The International Days take place as a conference about internationalization. We are welcoming representatives (teaching and staff members) of our partner universities worldwide with us in Mainz.

Main goals are to network, to introduce our university and to exchange on various topics of internationalization.

In different sessions, we will address global challenges and discuss ways to deal with them. Take part or contribute to exhibitions, workshops, best practices as well as social and cultural events.

On 14th May, our main focus will be the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG):

• How do internationalization and SDG affect each other?
• How can we use our cooperations in order to achieve the SDG?
• How can SDG play a role in the further development of universities?
• How can they be SDG be implemented in teaching?
• Which added values do they bring to the institutional profile?

On 15th May, we want to focus on research as well as on student perspectives:

• How to start international research projects?
• Which specific challenges that go along with them?
• How can we improve in order to recruit international talent?
• What do students want, what do they need? — learning from students’ perspectives
• How to make sure to prepare students for a professional career in the best way?

All sessions will have a focus on a hands-on approach, including best practices, projects and initiatives.

Let us invite you to participate and to gain new perspectives. Let us also invite you to contribute as a speaker or to present your projects.
