In keeping with tradition, 1. FSV Mainz 05 warmly welcomes all students from the Rhine-Main region to the 05er Studi-Talk at the MEWA-Arena at the beginning of the winter semester, in the immediate vicinity of our university campus. This will once again be the case this year on October 23 from 6 p.m., when 05 head coach Bo Henriksen and new national team player and home-grown talent Jonny Burkardt, among others, will be on hand to answer questions from guests on the topic of mental strength in elite sports.
The coach, who led the team to retain their place in the league last season after a sensational comeback, will talk about his experiences with mental strength in professional sports. In addition to Burkardt, who will also talk about how he dealt with his lengthy injury last season, sports psychologist Konstantin Kuhlmann from the youth training center will also provide insights into his work.
In addition, career opportunities with Mainz 05 and its partners will be presented, especially for students and graduates. It goes without saying that the participants in the panel discussion will be available to answer questions from the audience afterwards.
In addition to the panel discussion, guests can expect exclusive stadium tours and complimentary drinks and snacks. All students also have the opportunity to obtain a free ticket for the home match against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
Admission to the Studi-Talk is free and registration is not required.
It starts on October 23 at 6:30 pm in the VIP area of the MEWA-Arena. Admission starts at 6 pm.
