The Steinhöfel School comes for a visit

A taste of student life: students explore Mainz University of Applied Sciences

Around 75 students from the Steinhöfel School, a private school in Mainz and Heidesheim, visited the campus of Mainz University of Applied Sciences on February 3, 2025. As part of a diverse program, the students received insights into the wide range of degree programs available and had the opportunity to experience the campus up close.

Concentrating on economics studies, the school students immersed themselves in the world of higher education and explored their interests. The program was rounded off with a number of engaging workshops covering other subjects offered by Mainz University of Applied Sciences. Katharina Ding from the Psychological Student Counseling Service of the School of Business shared effective learning strategies and offered valuable tips for exam prep. In an edutainment lecture, Prof. Dr. Jens Reinhardt provided insights into the subject of artificial intelligence. In addition, lecturers from the schools of Engineering and Design presented the International Civil Engineering and Communication Design degree programs.

Alongside the workshops and lectures, the students had the opportunity to explore the campus and find out more about studying at Mainz University of Applied Sciences.

The annual visit of the Steinhöfel School with its 11th and 12th grades confirms the high level of interest among students for studying business. The event helps to show the young people what opportunities there are to study and to support them in their career orientation.
