This year’s Information Systems & Media Project Day once again demonstrated our students’ commitment and wealth of ideas. Eight teams presented the projects they developed over the course of a semester together with their supervising lecturers in the categories of Media, IT, Innovation, and Impact. The audience, students from the Bachelor’s degree programs in Information Systems and Digital Media and the Master’s degree program in IT Management, also took on the role of the judges and selected the winning projects using live voting.
After a good two hours of informative and diverse presentations, the winners were announced. Each of the winning teams received a cash prize of 500 Euro:
- Media Award: Team Helau-o-Mat
- IT Award: Rowletics app for the Hessian Rowing Youth
- Innovation Award: Croco (CrowdCompanion) – an event app
- Impact Award: Ethical AI Framework
In addition, two outstanding bachelor’s theses and one excellent master’s thesis were honored. All three graduates received the grade “very good” (sehr gut) for their theses.
The students now have another year to develop and implement new innovative ideas.
