Mainz University of Applied Sciences was awarded no fewer than six 2024 Rhineland Palatinate Design Awards. A total of eleven design awards and two special awards were presented this year. The award ceremony took place on November 5 in the plenary hall of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Parliament.
The Rhineland-Palatinate Design Award is organized by the Rhineland-Palatinate Design Forum and awarded by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economic Affairs. It honors outstanding design projects. This year, the awards were presented for the 30th time. The panel of judges selected the best projects out of 260 entries. Designers, agencies, students, vocational students, companies, and skilled trades businesses with a connection to Rhineland-Palatinate were eligible to submit projects.
