Prof. Dr. Britta Rathje was elected as Chairperson of Alumnity e.V. at the Annual General Meeting on Friday, April 26. She succeeds Claudia Huberti, who held the position for over 11 years and successfully steered the association of current and former students of the School of Business forward. Prof. Dr. Hans-Christoph Reiss, Dean of the School of Business, warmly congratulated Prof. Rathje on her election and looks forward to a good working relationship. The new Chair is a perfect fit for the position: Britta Rathje studied here at the School, followed by positions as an assistant and a lecturer. The Professor of Accounting was also Vice Dean and Director of a degree program for several years. She would like to continue to lead Alumnity successfully and drive it forward. And: .... “I would like to involve my colleagues more,” she says.
Alumnity e.V. stands for networking and support at the School of Business. The association offers students, professors, alumni, and collaborating companies a platform to meet as equals, establish contacts, and support the dialogue between members. Alumnity fosters the identification with the School of Business. Its aim is to promote a trusting exchange between members and provide them with individual support on both a personal and professional level.
