David Zakoth and Prof. Dr. Oliver Mauroner of Hochschule Mainz were honored with the Best Paper Award at the R&D Management Conference 2021 for their paper “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Makerspaces – The Innovation Journey from Ideation to Diffusion” together with Prof. Dr. Jutta Emes, Bauhaus-University Weimar.
In their work they investigated how ideas, prototypes, and innovation can be created in so called “makerspaces” – open and collaborative work spaces. The conference was hosted by University of Strathclyde.
