“Prompt Engineering for Managers” module wins award

The Competence Center for Innovation in Studies and Teaching has awarded the newly developed module “Prompt Engineering for Managers” by Prof. Dr. Christian Au, Jonas Fränzl and Andreas Wunder with the Prize for Innovative Teaching Projects.

In this pioneering module, students learn how to effectively use generative AI and prompting techniques to optimize business processes. They develop practical use cases in collaboration with partner companies and work with low-code tools. Alongside practical applications, there is a particular focus on the critical reflection of AI results, the analysis of potentials and limitations, and the importance of “human-in-the-loop” in AI-supported processes.

Thanks to the prize money, state-of-the-art technologies from leading providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google can be integrated into the curriculum. Students benefit from high-end models, image generation tools, web crawling, and RAG systems – the ideal preparation for the challenges of the digital working world.
