Psychological Student Counselling
Our offer for the School of Business
- Individual counselling on your problems – whether private or study-related
- Group programmes on various topics such as time management, learning strategies, stress management, relaxation techniques, …
Please note that we do not offer psychotherapy. Psychological counselling deals with specific, clearly defined problem areas (private or study-related), while the treatment of symptoms of a mental disorder takes place in psychotherapy. If psychotherapy is indicated for you, we will be happy to advise you on your options and support you in your search for psychotherapy.
You can find important information on the subject of psychotherapy on the website of the Federal Chamber of Psychotherapists. You can make an appointment for an initial consultation with a psychotherapist (psychotherapeutic consultation hours) via the Patient Service (Tel. 116117). You can find contact information of psychotherapists near you on the website of the Rhineland-Palatinate and Hessen association of registered medical practitioners (Kassenärztliche Vereinigung, websites only available in German). If you have any questions, you can also contact your health insurance company.
