Scholarship agencies for gifted students

In Germany, 13 organisations for the promotion of gifted students are active nationwide. With the help of government grants, scholarships are awarded to students and doctoral candidates. An overview of the requirements and benefits of German scholarship programs can be found at  www.stipendiumplus.de (also available in English)

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) funds university studies with various programs:

The project KISSWIN.DE is the communication platform for young scientists. It provides information on career paths and funding in the German science sector and networking with other scientists. (also available in English)

FOSTERING OF TALENTED PROFESSIONALS

This is a new guideline issued by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for the promotion of talented individuals during their university studies.
Professionally qualified persons who have demonstrated their particular talents in vocational training and in their occupation can apply for a scholarship to study at a university.
