In practical projects and company internships, you combine theory and practice - the focus of your entire degree program is on solution-oriented thinking and action. In English-speaking modules you will also expand your language skills on a high level.

What's in store for you

The focus of this master's degree program is on the teaching of leadership-relevant options for action. In addition to research methods in business administration, you will be familiarized with topics of economics and the digital economy. In business administration, you will deepen your knowledge of financial and supply chain aspects. The modules of the course deal with strategic management, management tools and entrepreneurial competencies, the development of leadership skills in personnel management and change management. You then implement these topics in the business simulation. As part of the specialization, you will distinguish yourself in the areas of finance, marketing or human resources management. In a block week before the 4th semester, an international management seminar with a field trip to another cultural area takes place. At the end of your studies you will write your master's thesis.

Who is this degree program interesting for?

The master's program in Management is designed for graduates with bachelor's degrees in business administration. Graduates of corresponding diploma programs can also strengthen their competence profile with this master's degree.

The degree prepares you for the assumption of demanding specialist and managerial tasks in private companies and public enterprises in the higher-level civil service. In addition, it will then enable further academic training as part of a doctoral program.

Program Structure

The four-semester program is modular in structure. Each module covers one semester. The required courses are offered every semester and conclude with a subject examination. The master's thesis is written during the 4th semester. You will work on the course contents in lectures, seminars and individual exercises as well as in case studies, group discussions, project work, small group work, management simulations, business plan and role plays. In addition, the planned company internship offers you the opportunity for an intensive exchange between theory and practice. The focus of this program is always on practical application.

Program Structure Overview

Lecture times

The lectures take place five days a week from Monday to Friday.

The summer semester begins in mid-March and ends in mid-July, the winter semester begins at the end of September and ends at the end of January. The periods in between are referred to as lecture-free periods, but are often used for company internships or writing papers.

A standard study period of four semesters is quite realistic. If you plan to spend a semester abroad, the study period is usually extended by another semester.
