M.Sc. in Auditing, on-the-job

The master’s degree in auditing is the shared AuditXcellence degree program of the Frankfurt School and Mainz University of Applied Sciences. It is offered in Frankfurt and prepares you optimally for the profession of a certified public accountant. Due to the close connection between theory and practice, the master’s program in auditing is a decisive step on your way to a career as a certified public accountant. Based on the requirements of Para. 8a of the WPO (Act on the Professional Code of Conduct of Chartered Public Accountants in Germany), the course of study is designed in such a way that the examinations you have completed during your studies can be recognized in three out of seven examinations of the auditing examination. The program prepares you for the four remaining examinations. The time model used allows you to work 50 to 70 percent at your job in addition to your studies and takes into account the "busy season" of the industry. This leave of absence ensures that you can concentrate fully on your studies and the preparation of the auditors’ examination during the study phases. The program is equally directed at employees of large and medium-sized auditing companies.
